The Charlesworth Carnival parade route begins outside St. Margaret's School in Gamesley at 12.30 on carnival Saturday, and ends about 20 minutes later at the Rec.
While there is no particular theme for the carnival floats, they are split into the following categories for judging as follows:
- Adult Village Float
- Child Village Float
- Outside Float
- Walkers (Individual / Group)
- Horse & Rider
- Horse & Carriage / Cart
The main idea, though, is to have fun!
